February 16 Books

The books we got this week were kind of duds.  Ok, that’s a big harsh but there weren’t any that we really, really loved.  That happens sometimes and that’s ok.  It’s great to still introduce them to a variety of texts.

Here are a bunch of books that my kids love that we did get from the library over the past few months and have subsequently bought and still enjoy!  They are kind of our “go to” books when we aren’t feeling the library books.

Tyson the Terrible by Christyan and Diane Fox
Fancy Nancy by Jane O’Connor
I’m Dirty! and I Stink! by Jim and Kate McMullan

You’ll notice a variety of types of texts…dinosaurs, vehicles, animals, and dress up!  My boys are not afraid to show their feminine side and LOVE the Fancy Nancy books!
